3.1 Install the Pi Browser App

• Download the Pi Browser app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store {use my invite code “askjofa”} if you haven’t already.

3.2 Access the Mainnet Section

• Open the Pi Network app and navigate to the Mainnet section in the side menu.

3.3 Complete Mainnet Checklist

• Access the Mainnet checklist and complete all the tasks leading up to the KYC verification task.

3.4 Initiate KYC Verification

• Tap the start button in the KYC area or manually go to “kyc.pi” in the Pi Browser app to begin the application process.

3.5 Choose Your Country

• Select your country from the drop-down menu as mentioned on your government-issued ID.

3.6 Select ID Document

• Choose the type of ID document you want to use for verification (a passport is recommended).

3.7 Follow Instructions

• Read and follow the instructions on the next four slides carefully.

3.8 Capture ID Photos

• Use the “Add front photo” option to take a clear picture of the front of your ID. If the back contains necessary information, capture a photo of that too.

3.9 Complete Form

• Submit the required information in the form matching your ID.

3.10 Liveness Check

• Click “I’m Ready” to initiate a liveness check, confirming your identity.

KYC Verification Processing Time

After submitting your KYC application, processing time can vary:

• It may take a few days to several months for a response.
• Quick verification is possible if information is accurate and there are many human validators in your location.

Checking KYC Status

To check your KYC status:

• Visit your profile in the Pi Network app; a green checkmark indicates verification.
• A loading animation means your application is pending.
• The Mainnet checklist’s “Wait for KYC results” tab turning green confirms KYC approval.

Note: Some users report the checklist tab not turning green even after approval, so rely primarily on the Pi KYC app (on Pi Browser) for status updates.
